A Bulgarian producer of food switched from advance payments to selling on deferred payment on the local market and started to export to more than 30 countries. In order to protect its cash flow, the company owner decided to use trade credit risk insurance. Thanks to the trade credit insurance new markets were developed and the T/O was increased by 80% in the last 2 years. Losses caused by impaired receivables were reduced by 50%.

A Bulgarian company trading with petrochemical products started to insure its first class customers in order to secure its working capital needs. In a period of 9 years the T/O increased from EUR 0,5 Mio. to over 50 Mio. T/O. The Bulgarian National Bank accepts the trade credit insurance policy of an insurer with an investment rating as a capital relief instrument and as a fast liquid collateral. In the last 3 years the company owner decided in addition to the working capital to do also selective factoring without recourse in order to improve its own financials and receive trade credit from its suppliers.

An IT company focused  on development of mobile applications and software solutions and sales in more than 15 countries. The latest trends in fintech and insurtech of artificial intelligence and transaction automation were set as  priorities in the corporate strategy.  The market development strategy was supported by an action plan and couching of the sales team. In addition to the structuring of the banking financing an equity investor was attracted in order to support the growth expansion and the innovations. The IT company  protected its receivables from non-payment, protracted default and political risks, due to its exposure volatile markets. An innovative Customer Relationship System and  trade receivables management tools were implemented. For several  years the company became a leader in its segment and was sold to an international investor.
